THE FIVE Cs WHO SHOULD APPLY HOW IT WORKS QUESTIONS EARLY ACCESS
A retirement money transition program built for India

You prepared for retirement.
Who prepared you for the decisions?

A small academy for those nearing or recently in retirement from government service. Central and state government, defence, public sector, banks, railways. Maximum 30 people per batch. We help you understand your retirement money before anyone else tells you what to do with it. No commissions. No products sold. Ever.

WHY THIS EXISTS
30 years building a retirement corpus.
30 days deciding what happens next.

Retirement brings decisions about gratuity, pension, taxation, investments, insurance and inheritance. Most people are expected to make them with very little preparation.

Many of those decisions are influenced by people who earn money when they sell a product.

Arthakosh exists to help you understand those decisions before you commit to them.

What you'll learn to do

The five Cs of retirement confidence

When you retire after 30 years of government service, a large sum lands in your account. Gratuity, provident fund, leave encashment. Within days, people show up wanting to help you invest it. The LIC agent. The bank relationship manager. The mutual fund distributor. Sometimes a former colleague who now works for one of them. All of them helpful. All of them on commission. None of them legally required to act in your interest. Most retirees don't know any of this. The Arthakosh Academy changes that.

Clarity

Most people retire without knowing exactly what they own. Every policy, every account, every entitlement. We fix that in the first week. You leave with a complete picture of your finances, probably for the first time in your life.

Capability

The ability to evaluate financial decisions independently. Learn how to assess claims, ask better questions, use modern tools including AI, and build your own investment principles.

Continuity

Your retirement money needs to support you for decades, not years. The basics of pension taxation, inflation, and estate planning. The questions nobody walks you through at retirement, and the language to ask them properly.

Control

Five questions that expose any advisor not working in your interest. Who earns what. How commissions flow. The difference between someone selling you a product and someone the law requires to put you first.

Community

After you graduate, you stay. A group of people with the same background, the same corpus, the same questions, meeting every month to review real decisions together. Not for 10 weeks. For the rest of your life.

Who this is for

Who should apply

We want you to know this before you apply.

This is for you if
  • You are within five years of retirement, or recently retired, from government service. Central or state government, defence, public sector, banks, or railways.
  • A large sum is about to reach your account and you want to understand it before anyone else gets to it.
  • Someone has already approached you with an investment idea and something felt off, but you didn't have the language to push back.
  • You want to manage your own money. Not hand it over and hope.
  • You are willing to do actual work. Live sessions, assignments, assessments. This is an academy, not a webinar.
  • You have spent your career on work that had nothing to do with personal finance, and you are willing to start from zero without embarrassment.
This is not for you if
  • You want stock tips, market calls, or a shortcut to returns. We don't do any of that.
  • You want someone to manage your money for you. The Academy teaches you to do it yourself.
  • You are early in your career. This program is built specifically for the retirement transition, not for wealth-building decades earlier.
  • You are not willing to attend live and put in the work between sessions.
  • You are happy with your current advisors and confident you understand exactly what they earn from you.
  • You are looking for a teacher who will tell you what to buy. We will not do that, ever, and if that is what you want you will be frustrated.
How the academy works

Not a course. A retirement academy.

No pre-recorded videos. No PDFs to download and never open. Ten weeks of live sessions with people who have done this for years, working through real problems in small groups.

10-week program Small cohorts of 25 to 30 people
  • Live sessions with practitioners who have spent 20 years in finance and technology, not 20 minutes making a course about it.
  • Every session produces a deliverable. Not notes. An actual piece of your financial plan.
  • Tools, templates, and checklists that stay with you. You keep everything after graduation.
  • You are assessed on whether you can actually apply What you'll learn to doed. You graduate when you demonstrate competence, not when you finish watching.

We don't teach products.
We build independent thinking and financial confidence for your retirement years.

The Arthakosh Academy
Why trust us

Why you can trust this

Four commitments, written down, kept without exception. Verify any of them before you enrol.

We earn from two things. Nothing else.

Program fee, and an optional annual membership for graduates. No product sales. No commissions. No referral fees from advisors, banks, or platforms.

Built for one transition, not for everyone

Every framework is built around a government employee leaving service. The money that arrives, the people who follow, the decisions that compound across thirty years.

Named faculty. Verifiable backgrounds.

Led by CA. Ashish Goyal and Anshuman Gautam, with over forty five years between them across capital markets, investing, and technology. Module faculty are named in advance. No one teaches anonymously.

The community is built to last

Graduates join one continuing alumni community. Monthly sessions for as long as the academy exists. If we cannot honour that, we tell you directly and refund what is unused.

Common questions

Things people ask before they decide

Straight answers.

Pricing will be announced with the founding cohort. It will be priced for government retirees, not for corporate clients. Early Access members hear first and get founding cohort rates.
Sessions are recorded. But the live discussion, the questions from the people in your batch, the real-time work — that is where most of the learning happens. Treat the live sessions as fixed commitments where you can.
This is a financial education program. We do not manage money, give personalised investment advice, or hold a SEBI investment advisory registration. We teach you to think and evaluate so you are not dependent on someone who does hold that registration and earns a commission from what you buy.
About four to six hours a week. Two live sessions of one hour each, with one to two hours of work after each session. Every session ends with a deliverable. By week ten you have a complete personal financial framework, not just notes.
You graduate and you stay. Every graduate joins the monthly peer group. Same background. Same corpus. Same questions. They meet to review real decisions, hold each other to their own rules, and catch each other before a bad move. The Academy ends after ten weeks. The group runs for life.
We are not asking you to fire your advisor. We are asking whether you understand what your advisor earns from you and why. Most people who complete this program don't stop using advisors. They become the kind of client who asks the right questions. That changes the relationship entirely.
